Dogs Choice was born from love—and loss.
In 2013, my journey into canine nutrition began when my beloved Wire Fox Terrier, Harvey, was diagnosed with kidney disease. As I searched for answers, one truth kept surfacing: a fresh, balanced diet could slow the progression of disease and improve quality of life. So I began cooking for Harvey at home, using whole, human-grade ingredients. Month after month, his kidney test results improved. The transformation was undeniable.
Though cancer ultimately took Harvey the following year, his story became the heartbeat of Dogs Choice. His resilience—and the power of fresh food—changed everything I believed about pet food.
Soon after, a sweet Tibetan Terrier came into my life, also struggling with health issues linked to a kibble-based diet. He, too, began thriving on fresh food. His recovery reaffirmed what Harvey had taught me: real food heals.
Dogs Choice isn’t just a brand. It’s a promise—to honor our dogs with the same care, quality, and compassion we give ourselves.

In early 2023, we partnered with an Advanced Certified Canine Nutritionist (ACN) who shares our deep passion for canine wellness. Together, we’ve crafted gently cooked recipes packed with superfoods and tailored to meet your dog’s nutritional needs—without relying on synthetic additives.
